A week ago, I went to this audition my friend was putting up for singers. There'll be a party for us, prefects of my school and they want performers. I was chosen to be the lead singer of the prefects' band. Yippee! ^^

Sadly, our teacher wanted us to sing slow, old songs instead of rock songs. Sigh, so we picked some songs that we thought were perfect. Then, yesterday, I brought another friend named Ning Shen along with me. I was hoping he'd teach me how to dance for Miley Cyrus's song, Let's Dance. I secretly chose that song for a grand finale.

Anyway, he listened to our practice and made a face. Our guitarists, Joel and Jeannette were like, "What is it, Ning Shen?!"

"Aiya, I just want to comment, OK? I think... your songs are so boring."

"They're meant to bore people! D=" Joel said exasperatedly.

Ning Shen went on, listing every single song in the world, saying they're way better than our songs. Joel, clearly annoyed, asks me if I should listen to him or not.

Well, Ning Shen was a performer himself... He can sing, dance, play several instruments... He's talented. I would have listened to him. But I still think our songs are OK. These are our songs:
